I have a wide variety of interests and experiences that contribute to making me a great writer. In the past I've: completed a Permaculture Design Certification, worked as an exotic bird caretaker, a dog trainer, a server in a country bar and a server in an upscale restaurant, a farmhand, a hotel supervisor, and a veterinary assistant. In 2013 my husband and I started our own business, Infusions Nursery, that specializes in microgreens and perennial food plants.
As an entrepreneur and former Operations Supervisor for the opening team of a Courtyard by Marriott, I can pull from my on-the-streets and in-the-dirt experiences for my writing repertoire. I have knowledge of business start-up and finances, marketing, greenhouse growing and farmer's markets, farming, and corporate management and am able to write confidently about these topics.
